Start in Mating Menu

Start with Matings - Set Up Mating.

Project and Owner

Select Project (if applicable) and Owner from dropdown menu.

Breeding Cage

Use the radio buttons to either select an existing cage from the Active Cages Dropdown, or set up a new cage.  If you set up a new cage, an add new cage tool will pop up.  Complete the cage setup and save.

Select Dam(s) and Sire

Search directly for animals, or browse to select animals.

Mating Type

Select the Mating Type

Options

The options are selected for you by default.  Keep selected to transfer the breeding animals to your selected or new cage, and verify that the cage is empty.

Mating Details

Proceed to Mating Details.
