Change Project Function in Cages

 
Using the Change Project Action Button is recommended for changing Projects.  If you disabled the Cage Module, you can transfer animals to other Projects using the Animal Update-Same. 
When you use the Change Project feature in Cages, you will be able to transfer cages, animals, owner, breeding records, and Protocols all at once.

New Project

Select the Project you are transferring TO from the dropdown menu.

Update Ownership

Check if you want to update the animal and cage ownership to the new Project Owner.  If there are Breeding records, you can also update the owner for them (the second checkbox only appears if breeding records are present).

Advanced Options

An Advanced Options link will appear above the submit button if there are breeding records present in the Project.  Click the Advanced Options link, then select any of the breeding records to transfer to the new Project as well.  Click the upper left box to select all.

Submit Changes

Click to move all cages, animals, breeding record and Protocol to the new Project.
