Experiments

 
The experiments will be Inside the Research Project folder.  An experiment can have one or more animals, and each animal or group of animals may go through several runs of testing and measurements.
 
You can create a new experiment by clicking on the folder/Research project, or using the left menu.

Select Animals

Search or browse for one or more animals to include in the experiment. OR, in mLIMS, select the animals from the animal menu and click the experiment action button.  You will be re-directed to the lab notebook with your animals alrready selected.

Select Research Project

By default, if you started in a project folder, the research project will be selected by default.  You can select any existing project from the dropdown menu.

Title, Date, Owner

Enter Title (Free Text), Date, and select owner.

Status, Category

By default, a new experiment is active.  An experiment can also me marked as completed. The category is an auto-generated dropdown menu.

Experiment Notes

Free text areas are included.
