Run Templates are created in advance. When a new run record is added, the form is pre-filled with template information. You can still add a run without using a template.
1. Go to: Lab Notebook - Run Templates - Create Run template
2. Enter details and check the measurement box if you will add measurements during this run. This is for single-animal runs only. For multiple animal measurements, refer to Lab Notebook - Add Measurements.
3. Check the box if you will be adding samples during this run. This is directly connected to the mLIMS Samples Module.
4. Check the Update Experiment box if you are updating the experiment status upon completion of the run. Check the box if you will sacrifice animals at completion of run, then submit. Repeat steps 1-4 to create additional run templates.
