Hint: If you have several thousand animals to import, consider doing the import in smaller groups, starting with the oldest animal and working your way up. This will help in error checking!
If you have CUSTOM FIELDS in your import, it is suggested to add them to mLIMS first. This helps to set he imported fields properly, based on its type (dropdown, date, etc). Custom fields added during import will become text fields if not added to the system before the import.
