Date to Age

You can create a "Date to Age" custom field to have mLIMS calculate the age an animal will be on a certain date. For example if you want to know the age of animals on a certain date, create a custom field in the animals section. The field is searchable and can be added to your column headers.

(System Settings - Animals - Additional Information)

1. Create Custom Field for Date to Age: Enter the date as the field name and choose Date to Age from the dropdown.

2. Select the Animals in which you want to know how old they will be on the date, update and match the date.

3. mLIMS will display the animal age on the selected date.
